I began my 20 years of public service as a draftee in the Army and served two tours leading men into battle in Vietnam. My wife Dody and I returned to Iowa to raise a family on the farm and I was honored to serve my fellow Iowans in the State Senate. Today, I continue to heed my country's call in Congress. I have always risen to the fight for our American values and will never shrink from a challenge.

I am honored to have fought for Iowans for the past 14 years in Congress and am proud of the accomplishments Team Boswell has made for honest, hardworking Americans from all backgrounds.
