"Boswell, a six-term incumbent from Des Moines, received 61 percent of the vote, winning comfortably in the district's battleground, Polk County, and dominating in the district's rural areas. Fallon, a former state representative from Des Moines, received 39 percent of the vote.
Boswell will face former administrative law judge and congressional aide Kim Schmett, a Clive Republican, in November."
